February 26-27

Dead Creek has been selected for the 3rd annual Media Film Festival. Friday & Saturday, February 26 & 27, 2010. Dead Creek will screen in the 7pm block on Saturday the 27th. Check out their website for more info including their trailer which features clips from selected films including Dead Creek.

February 19-21, 2010

NEVERMORE FILM FESTIVAL selected Dead Creek to be one of only eight shorts screened from over seventy submitted. The festival is in its 11th year and takes place at the Carolina Theatre of Durham, NC on February 19-21, 2010.

December 5-6, 2009

Dead Creek will be screened as part of the Dark River Film Festival in Louisville, KY. The festival will be held December 5th & 6th 2009. Tickets are $8 per day or a 3 day pass for $20. One of the festival sponsors is Louisville Slugger- yeah! Dead Creek will screen at 4:30pm on Saturday, December 6th.

October 30, 2009

Dead Creek will PROUDLY be screening at the 2nd annual Vermont Horror Fest in Burlington, VT. This will be our local premiere with many cast and crew in attendance. Screening time for Dead Creek is 7:45pm and admission is only $5. Doors open at 7pm with another local filmmaker, Owen Mulligan presenting his film "Midnight Roadkill." followed by acclaimed horror writer Joe Citro giving a talk, then director Rob Schmidt will screen his great 2003 film "Wrong Turn" and give a Q&A.

UPDATE 11/1: Festival recap- "Dead Creek" screened to a standing room only crowd for its homecoming. Genuine skrieks and gasps were heard from the audience. Many cast and crew were in attendance. A fantastic night all around.

October 21-25, 2009

42 new films from 9 countries and 12 states have been announced to screen at Sppoky Movie: The Washington, D.C. International Horror Film Festival...and Dead Creek is one of them! The festival takes place between October 21st and 25th. The screening of Dead Creek will take place SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25 at the CINEMA ARTS THEATRE in the 5:45 pm short film program. This is very exciting and we're very proud to be a part of this festival.

October 20-24, 2009

We proudly announce that Dead Creek has been selected to be screened at the Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia. The festival runs October 20th-24th. We're excited to return to Philadelphia. Felix, Grace, Princess Horror and their team put on a great festival of films, and are incredible supporters of independent genre cinema. In 2007, director Mike Turner's previous film, "Primevil", screened at the TFF. The screening for Dead Creek is Saturday, Oct 24th during the event's 'Splatter Saturday, Splatter Shorts' screening at 3:15 PM. CLAW AWARDS!

At an awards ceremony on October 24th, Dead Creek was honored by five Claw Award nomination and won for Best Director (Mike Turner).

Dead Creek selected for this year's Eerie Horror Festival. The screening was Saturday, Oct. 10th: 11am

Note from Mike: "It was a real pleasure to screen at this great event. The people who run the festival are fantastic and the audience has been awesome. The Warner Theater is a beautiful venue and its been a treat to see Dead Creek and many many great films at this theater."

October 2-3, 2009

Dead Creek has been chosen for the Buried Alive Horror Film Festival October 2-3, 2009. The Atlanta HorrorFest is a weekend of music, movies and zombie walk now in its fourth year. We're very proud to be selected for this very cool festival. Dead Creek will be screening during the opening night "Scary Shorts" program at 7pm on Friday, October 2nd.
